Nobody walks out of a cinema saying "seven point four". They say it was good, it was alright, or it was rubbish. That is the whole rating system here — Yeh, Meh, or Nah, one per film — so you know where it stands without reading another word.
Why it exists
The hard part was never the watching
Deciding what to watch is harder than actually watching it. Every other site answers that with a number — an average of a thousand people who all wanted different things from the same film, rounded to one decimal place and presented as a fact. It tells you nothing about whether you should spend your evening on it.
So we give one verdict instead — Yeh, Meh, or Nah — and commit to it. If that sounds reductive, that is because it is. It is also the only thing you were trying to find out. How the verdicts work is its own page.
Who writes this
No byline. On purpose.
Every critic verdict here is ours — one point of view, not a panel and not an average. We stay unnamed on purpose. A name invites you to weigh who is talking instead of what was said, and a one-word verdict should stand on its own.
Agree with it or don't — both are fair. That is what the audience vote on every film is for, and when the crowd says Yeh to our Nah, the split sits on the page for everyone to see.
No one pays for a verdict

No studio, distributor or PR team has paid for a verdict here, and none ever will. There are no sponsored reviews. If something gets a Yeh, it earned one.
A ticket costs money and a film costs an evening you do not get back. A verdict is only worth reading if nobody bought it.

Tell us when something is wrong
Most of what you see on a film page — the poster, the synopsis, the release date, the streaming platforms — comes from a third-party database, and it is not always right. A date that is off, a platform listed that never got the film, one missing that did, a synopsis that gives away the ending, the wrong regional title, a poster for a different film entirely. Tell us and it gets fixed.
Same for anything broken: a page that will not load, a vote that will not save, a verdict you think we got badly wrong. Get in touch — it goes straight to a person.
